Framework for Local TV and Pioneer Locations Consultations

This consultation has now ended. The consultation period 18 July to 23 September 2011.

The Government plans to introduce three statutory instruments as detailed in the framework document and is consulting on these legislative proposals.

Details of the proposed orders are set out in Chapter 2 of the Framework document.

A list of potential locations for local TV are set out in the Pioneer locations publication which also invites views on which towns and cities should be licensed in the first phase.
