BBC Application for Digital Curriculum Service

On 3 May 2002, the BBC submitted a proposal to develop and launch the Digital Curriculum, a new licence-fee funded public service comprising interactive online learning materials in support of the school curriculum - BBC's application for Digital Curriculum.

On 9 January 2003, Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell announced her decision to approve the BBC Digital Curriculum - Approval Decision.
