Closer ties between creative industries in Indonesia and the UK

A new agreement to boost cooperation between the UK and Indonesia was signed this week.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Memorandum of Understanding builds on the countries’ strong ties and looks to develop a cultural exchange programme, looking especially at building capacity and skills in the creative industries.

Minister for Culture, Communications and the Creative Industries Ed Vaizey and Dr Mari Elka Pangestu, Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy signed the agreement at Number 10 Downing Street on 31 October, 2012.
