'Online infringement of copyright (initial obligations) cost sharing: HM Government response

Government response to the consultation on how costs would be shared as part of the Digital Economy Act’s measures to tackle online infringement of copyright.

Covers how costs will be split between rights holders and internet service providers (ISPs) at a ratio of 75:25 respectively. Also explains that no fee will be charged to consumers who want to appeal a notification for infringed online copyright. Includes a summary of responses to the consultation.
