IPv6 rollout in the UK: A BIS Departmental report
Reports on the results of research by The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) consultants into how UK industry could facilitate the migration in the internet from the use of the IPv4 protocol to the IPv6 protocol.
This internet protocol (IP) move is required due to the impending shortage of IPv4 internet addresses. The report makes recommendations for the UK to build on to determine the direction to take.
