DCMS Simplification Plan 2007
The 2007 DCMS Simplification Plan sets out the progress of the Department in progressing simplification measures intended to reduce burdens on businesses and others by simplifying and modernising legislation, removing irritants and employing a risk based approach to regulation.
In particular it reports on the progress the Department has made in reducing the administrative burdens its regulations place on those that must comply with them. It also sets outs the Departments plan for work in this area until May 2010.
