  • Consultation events in England – report of findings PDF (319kb)
    In Spring 2003 DCMS listened to the views of 563 people (including children and young people) in nine consultation events across England, this report summarises the findings.  It looks at the definition of play and the mechanism for distributing the lottery funding and discusses the degree of consensus on priorities for funding differing types and scales of play provision.
  • Analysis of responses to the consultation document PDF (168kb)
    This report (by the DfES Consultation Unit) has been based on 425 responses to the consultation document, which was on the DCMS and DfES websites for 3 months last Spring.
