2012

  • A programme of test events continues
  • The torch relay begins in May
  • The London 2012 Festival begins in June 
  • The London 2012 Olympic Games begin in July and the Paralympic Games begin in August
  • The Cultural Olympiad finishes in September
  • The legacy transformation of the Olympic Park begins

2013/2014

  • The legacy transformation of the Olympic Park is complete
  • Final costs are confirmed
  • The final impact of the London Games and the Cultural Olympiad is assessed
