The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is responsible for staging the Games. LOCOG is a private company.
Its responsibilities include contracting out services, selling tickets and recruiting volunteers, as well as arranging a series of test events in advance of the Games.
We are working with LOCOG and a number of other organisationsto make sure that the Games run smoothly and efficiently.

DCMS is responsible for coordinating necessary changes to the law, acting on behalf of the Government.
