Department for Culture Media and Sport

tourism

We are responsible for supporting the tourism industry at national level, and for putting regional and local support for the sector into a strategic context.

We advocate good quality and service for tourists, from the UK and overseas. We encourage and help the tourism industry to improve what it has to offer for all our visitors and to promote a positive image abroad.

Tourism Advisory Council on Tourism
