skills

We support “SkillsActive”, the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning, to improve the training, qualification and skill base of the sector through:
National Occupational Standards
National Occupational Standards are the benchmark of competence in the sports sector and are used to develop qualifications, training programmes, staff development and more.
Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs)
Instructors, coaches, trainers and teachers in the exercise and fitness industry can register as part of the REP when they’ve achieved nationally recognised qualifications and training. Join the Exercise Register.
Young Apprenticeship in Sport
