While Minister for Culture, David Lammy issued the Legal Deposit Advisory Panel with revised Terms of Reference in March 2007. The revision extended the Panel's scope to make recommendations on both non-regulatory and regulatory options for the deposit of non-print publications.
The Panel was established in September 2005 to advise the Secretary of State on the implementation of the Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003.
